Summer to do list

This summer I have a whole heap of things that I want to do. So, with that being said...here's my LIST!

1. Take swimming lessons
2. Design some ubber cute shirt for the summer
3. Finish working on my clutches
4. Get fit (this should be at the top of my list...but it's not so WOMP)
5. Take photography classes
6. Travel
7. Learn to cook (better than how I already cook)
8. Find Yogi (my dog) a Girlfriend lol
9. Organize my room (it's a mess)
10. Last but not least ENJOY MY SUMMER!

I'm pretty sure my list will grow as we get into the summer months, but this is pretty much what my summer will consist of.

Grunion Run!!

Tonight at midnight my cousin and I (Josh) are goin to the beach to see the Grunion Run!

Here's some info on this event!!!!

Grunion are known for their unusual mating ritual whereby at very high tides the females come up on to sandy beaches where they dig their tails into the sand to lay their eggs. The male then wraps himself around the female to deposit his sperm and for the next ten days the grunion eggs remain hidden in the sand. At the next set of high tides the eggs hatch and the young grunion are washed out to sea.

So looking forward to this tonight....my hair will be wrapped cause I'm getting it done after work, so don't be suprised when you see the pic's


UPDATE!!!!

Ugh, I didn't get to go see the grunions Friday like I planned because my cousin (Josh) left me hangin'...He didn't want to go. I'm glad because I just got my hair done. Ocean mist and my hair don't mix o_O lol. My boss told me on Monday that the fish didn't even come out...so all in all it worked out!

No Weaves...For now ;-)

I took my weave out like 3 1/2 weeks ago and I've been rockin' with my natural hair. I thought I was gonna hate my hair and wanna go back into the weave immediately, but I love wearing my hair. It's not very long I actually got it cut when I went to get my hair done. The only issuse is that my hair is falling out from the roots. IDK why but it is :-(. I'm not a big lipstick girl but recently I've been going lipstick CRAZY!!! I'm so in love with the CoverGirl Queen collection. The collection consists of Rich shades made specifically for women of color!!! I've already bought 5 different colors Regal Raspberry (which is a deep wine color with some sparkle nice color a night out on the town) South Beach Sand (It's a nude color with a hint of pink) Penelope Pink (Very soft color, reminds me on the Mac Pink Friday color) Girly Pink (It's has a hint of gold...This is actually my fav color) and Ruby Slipper (Deep Red...I almost want to say in person it looks true red). These lipstick are great and very affordable at just 6.00 each! I'll have pictures up later today of how they look on me ;-)

THEE one and only Prince has a 21 Night Stand at the INGLEWOOD Forum! when I tell you he shut it down, he did just that. I knew Prince was a great preformer.....but I had no idea it would be like that! He did all my favorites from Purple Rain to If I were your girlfriend. Oh and his special guest were Mint Condition(yessssss!!!!) Alicia Keyes (OMG) Chaka Khan (killed it) Shelia E (also killed it) Sly and the Family stone (need I say more). I went Friday night with my dad and I was suppose to go on Saturday with my uncle but he was feeling under the weather, so I ended up going with a friend of mine. Saturday he did 4 encores. I had the time of my life and I'm planning to see him again before he leaves LA! Best concert that I've ever been to! I can know cross this off my bucket list!!!!! Prince is the BOMB.COM lol Prince

4 years ago today I became a member of Sista 2 Sista! I definitely had some super great memorable moments and some not so great ones.
